A: Mulch can be taken/picked-up at the Compost Facility at 2417 Southridge Drive. As it becomes available, mulch will be free to City residents and available for pick-up .

A: A fee will apply to non-residents and commercial operators.

A: The Department of Conservation requires anyone over the age of 16 to have a fishing license, for more information please contact them at (573) 522-4115.

A: Unfortunately, we do not yet have our zoning maps on-line. You can find out the zoning of your property by calling the Planning Division at (573) 634-6410.

A: Jefferson City has contracted with a recycler to pick up newspapers, magazines, and corrugated cardboard from five convenient locations within the City. Citizens may take these materials to any one of the five locations at anytime. These locations include:
- McKay Park
- Memorial Park
- Fire Station #1, 621 W. High St.
- Fire Station #2, 2400 E. McCarty St.
- Fire Station #5, 1005 Fairgrounds
