The Christmas Home Decorating Contest is limited to residents within the city limits who have entered by 12 noon on Friday, December 5, 2008.

There are 5 catagories of competition: Christmas Elegance; Best Use of Lights; Best use of Christmas Characters; Best Religious Display and City's Best (previous Mayors Award winners). Preliminary competition will be by wards, choosing 1st & 2nd place in each category in each ward. The 1st place winners in each ward with then compete for the Mayor's Award.

All entries with a map will be published in the Dec. 9th

Mayors' Winners will be published in the Dec. 19th News Tribune |

Preliminary judging for all homes will be Dec. 9th to 11th from 6-10 pm. All entered homes will have thier displays lighted at this time. Mayor's judging of the best of each ward will be held on Dec. 15th

All entries must be received by Friday, Dec. 5th by 12 Noon
|
Ward winners receive a yard sign on Saturday, Dec. 13th.
|
Mayor's Award winners receive a plaque between Dec. 15-19.
