5TH GRADE BASKETBALL   (league packet 2009 ~ Schedule 2009)
The Department of Parks and Recreation and the Jefferson City School District are offering a free youth basketball program for boys and girls in the 5th grade. Students interested in participating or parents interested in coaching need to contact their school’s Physical Education teacher or Athletic Director by September 25.

Games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. Schools need to turn in league rosters to the Parks and Recreation office by 5 p.m., Friday, October 16. Games will tentatively begin the week of November 6 with the season finishing by winter break.

6TH GRADE BASKETBALL

The Department of Parks and Recreation in cooperation with the Jefferson City School District offers a free youth basketball program for boys and girls in 6th grade. Students interested in participating or parents interested in coaching should contact their school's coordinator or Athletic Director before Christmas break.

The 6th grade league rosters are due at the Parks and Recreation office by 5 p.m., Tuesday, January 5. Games will begin in February and end by mid-April. Games for the 6th grade program will be played on Saturdays beginning at 9 a.m.
