YOUTH DAY CAMP PROGRAMS

 

Winter Day Camp

Ho-Ho-Holiday Camp

Ho-Ho-Holiday Camp is for boys and girls in grades K-5. Camp meets from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. on the following days: Friday, December 21, Monday, December 24, Wednesday, December 26, Thursday, December 27, Friday, December 28, and Monday, December 31. Camp will be held at the Shikles Recreation Center and the Washington Park Ice Arena. Activities include arts and crafts, games and physical activities, and much more.

Binder Adventure Camp

Binder Adventure Camp is a challenging outdoor recreation experience for youth entering grades 4-6 in the fall. Campers will not only enjoy the outdoors but will learn outdoor skills which they can use for life. Some of the activities will include canoeing, fishing, archery, hayrides, outdoor camping/cooking, confidence course, hiking, nature study, and more.  more information and bus schedule.....

 

Camp Wokka-Wokka

Camp Wokka-Wokka is for boys and girls entering grades 1-3 this fall. Camp meets from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at Memorial Park. Activities include arts and crafts, games and physical activities, cookouts, hikes, nature study, field trips, and much more.   more information...

Youth Sports Day Camp

Youth Sports Day Camp is for boys and girls entering grades 1 - 5 in the fall. Camp meets from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at Ellis-Porter Park. Campers will have the opportunity to play a variety of recreational games and sports as well as learn about nutrition. more information....

 

Fine Arts Theater Camp

For twenty-four years, the Fine Arts Camp have served the youth by providing a fun and challenging atmosphere to enjoy the arts. Fine Arts Camp combines art, dance, drama, and music to help your child develop their artistic talents.  more information....

Camp Eagle
Showdown Academy is an intensive, three week adventure into theater for 6th graders through 12th graders. It begins with morning classes where students choose three of the following: acting, directing, composing, stage movement, musical theater, dance, stage craft and playwriting. Afternoons are devoted to rehearsals for the full production. The program will end with an original show “The Argonauts” – making its mid-west premiere. more information ....
 

Camp Eagle, held at Binder Park, is a new camp we are offering which features a high-adventure outdoor recreation experience for youth entering grades 7-9 in the fall. Activities will include sailing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, 3-D archery, hayrides, outdoor camping/cooking, climbing, rappelling and ropes course, hiking, nature study, and more. more information....
