Tee-Ball/Coach-Pitch Team Rosters (as of 5/5/10)
|
The Tee-Ball program is an introductory program that allows boys and girls who are entering kindergarten or 1st grade in the 2010-2011 school year to participate in an organized baseball program at a low intensity level. The participants are under the guidance of Parks and Recreation staff and volunteer parents. Out, safe, fair and foul calls will be made. The Incrediball, a soft baseball, will be used for play. Play will be on a modified field in North Jefferson City.

The Coach-Pitch program is for boys and girls entering the 1st or 2nd grade in the 2010-2011 school year. The Parks and Recreation staff and/or coach will pitch to the participants using the Incrediball, a soft baseball/softball, in a slow overhand/underhand style. If a child does not hit a ball fair in five swing attempts, a tee is brought out to hit from. The program will incorporate a low intensity setting while using the traditional calls. All games will be played on a modified field in North Jefferson City. |
