Hot Dippity Dog 2009
Enjoy two dog days of summer by taking a dip with your dog at Ellis-Porter Riverside Pool or Memorial Park Family Aquatic Center. Every dog receives a “doggie bag” full of treats! Dress your dog in a costume for additional prizes! In cooperation with Carousel Pet Supplies. Please remember all dogs need to be on a leash. You may take them off the leash in the water, but must stay close to them.

Water and Sun Safety Classes
The Jefferson City Parks & Recreation Department encourages everyone to be safe in and around the water and to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the harmful effects of the sun during the summer months. The aquatic staff is available to talk to area youth by visiting them at school or by setting up a field trip to Memorial Park Family Aquatic Center. Call 634-6474 to schedule your water and sun safety class. This is a FREE program.
