The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) Board of Directors invites
public comment on the following proposed amendments to the 2007-2010
Transportation
Improvement Program (TIP). Please click on the link below for each project to access detailed TIP amendment information, including cost, location, map and information on how to comment.
(1) The City of Jefferson Transit Division proposes to relocate the
current JeffTran Transfer Point to 820 E. Miller;
(2) The City of Jefferson Department of Parks,
Recreation and Forestry proposes to construct a pedestrian and bicycle path along two possible
routes, (Option 1) From at the YMCA Drive at Stadium Blvd to the intersection of Rosewood Dr and
Ellis Blvd OR, (Option 2) From Chestnut Street at Leslie Blvd to the intersection of Rosewood and
Ellis Blvd;
(3) The Cole County Department of Public Works proposes a bridge replacement over
the North Moreau Creek on Walnut Acres Road and
(4) an interchange on Highway 179 midway
between West Edgewood and Route C.
Information on these proposed projects may also be viewed at
the Missouri River Regional Library; offices of the County Clerks in Cole and Callaway
counties; City Clerk offices in Holts Summit, Lake Mykee, St Martins, City of Jefferson. The public comment period
will conclude with a public hearing on May 21, 2008 at 12:15 p.m. in the Boone/Bancroft Room
#200, John G. Christy Municipal Building, 320 East McCarty St., Jefferson City, Missouri.
2030 Metropolitan Transportation Plan Approved
The 2030 long range Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) presents a plan for the development of transportation programs and projects within the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization Metropolitan Planning Area which may occur over the next 20+ years. This represents the first long rang plan for the CAMPO region.
