Background/Personal

Cindy Layton was first nominated by the City Council to fill an unexpired term for Ward Four following the resignation of Councilman Bob Weber in October, 2004. She was sworn into office on December 20, 2004. She since run for re-election, and won, for full two-year terms.

Cindy Layton has lived in the Fourth Ward over ten years, and since coming to the city, has been active in many community groups.  Cindy and her husband, Jim, have three children: Tim, Sarah, and Benjamin.

Education

Bachelor of Science, Paralegal Degree, with minors in History and Business from Winona State University, Winona, Minnesota.
