Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Agent in envelopes provided for the Building Demolition at 225 West McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri as described in specifications that are available at the Office of the Purchasing Agent.

Bids will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, 320 E. McCarty St., Jefferson City, MO 65101 until February 23, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chamber.

Pool Chemicals

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Agent in envelopes provided for Pool Chemicals as described in specifications that are available at the Office of the Purchasing Agent.

Sod

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Yard Waste Drop-Off and Composting

The City of Jefferson is requesting competitive sealed proposals for Yard Waste Drop-Off and Composting.  Proposals will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, 320 E. McCarty St., Jefferson City, MO 65101 until February 17, 2010 at 1:30 p.m.  Proposal requirements and specifications are available at the Office of the Purchasing Agent.   Proposals will be received only; they will not be publicly opened. 

Project No. 32102, Water Street Slope Stabilization and Reconstruction

Competitive sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Purchasing Agent, 320 East McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri  65101, until 1:30 PM, on Friday, March 26, 2010.  Proposals will be received only, they will not be publicly opened.

The proposed work for the project entitled "Project No. 32102, Water Street Slope Stabilization and Reconstruction" will include the furnishing of all technical personnel, investigations, sampling, analysis, engineering, design, labor, materials, supervision and equipment necessary  to design and construct a stable slope in the area to the north of the properties addressed as 726, 722, and 716 Cliff Street, Jefferson City, Missouri,  and to reconstruct the portion of the existing Water Street which has been affected by the slope failure or is affected by the slope stabilization.

A pre-proposal conference will be held at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 in the Thomas Jefferson Conference Room of City Hall, 320 E, McCarty Street, Jefferson City, MO  65101. All prospective offerors are urged to attend.

Copies of the contract documents required for offering proposals may be obtained from the Director of Community Development, 320 East McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri. A non-refundable deposit of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) will be required for each set of plans and specifications.

The contract will require compliance with the wage and labor requirements and the payment of minimum wages in accordance with the Schedule of Wage Rates established by the Missouri Division of Labor Standards.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities therein, to determine which is the lowest and best proposal.
