INVITATIONS TO BID


The City of Jefferson is requesting sealed bids for the Sale of Surplus Real Property, Fire Station 3 as described in specifications that can be requested from the Office of the Purchasing Agent, 320 East McCarty Street, Room 202, Jefferson City, Missouri.

Sealed bids for the sale of the property located at 2104 Industrial Drive will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Agent until December 2, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. CST at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Council Chambers.  For additional information, contact 573-634-6324.


Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Purchasing Agent, 320 East McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri  65101, until 1:30 P.M., on Tuesday, December 16, 2014.  The bids will be opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers at 1:30 P.M. on that same day.

The proposed work for the project entitled "Project No. 31125, Algoa Pump Station - Vertical Solids Removal Equipment" will include the furnishing of all material, labor, and equipment to Provide, test, startup and provide training for a verical solid handing unit at the Algoa Pump Station

A pre-bid conference will be held at 1:30 P.M., on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in the Thomas Jefferson Conference Room of City Hall, 320 E, McCarty Street, Jefferson City, MO  65101. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.

Copies of the contract documents required for bidding purposes may be obtained from the Director of Public Works, 320 East McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri.  A non-refundable deposit of Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) will be required for each set of plans and specifications.  Individual full size sheets of the plans may be obtained for Three Dollars ($3.00) per sheet.

The contract will require compliance with the wage and labor requirements and the payment of minimum wages in accordance with the Schedule of Wage Rates established by the Missouri Division of Labor Standards.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities therein, to determine which is the lowest and best bid and to approve the bond.

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Agent in envelopes provided for Repair of Leeds Building, 220 E. High Street as described in specifications available at that office.
