L & O Gas Station 101 W. McCarty, 3rd Big One in 1962
Took 2 hours to bring fire under control. 4 Engines, the Aerial and 24 Firemen, fire was caused by an explosion from a gasoline truck brought in for repair. The fire was stopped on the north side before getting into a six unit apartment building.
