The Jefferson City Fire Department responded to an Oil Burner Explosion in the basement of the Wyandotte Furniture Company. The JCFD fought the fire in 15 degree temperatures later in the afternoon Columbia and Fulton Fire Departments provided Mutual Aid and Fire Companies remained at the scene until mid day the next day with fire loss of $300,000.
