Conference Center

The Jefferson City Council is continuing to explore the possibility of constructing a conference center in Jefferson City.  Previous research supported the plausibility of a conference center in our community. Currently the Council is reviewing two proposals from private companies to construct a conference center.  Both companies are local. The City is proposing to contribute $9 million from the hotel/motel tax toward this effort.
