On November 1, 2007, the City of Jefferson and Cole County introduced their new interactive web site www.midmogis.org to the community at a media event.  MidMoGIS is a partnership that was formed in 2006 between the City of Jefferson and Cole County, Missouri.  The partnership allows both government agencies to share GIS (Geographic Information Systems) data, projects, and hardware/software resources. 

The web site features an interactive map where users can search for geographic information.  Some of the information on the Web site includes: property ownership data available at the assessor's office, aerial photography, JEFFTRAN routes, parks and greenway trails, school district information, zoning districts, voting precincts, and more.  Not all the information collected by the City and County will be put online.  Users can access MidMoGIS through the City of Jefferson web site, Cole County web site or directly accessing www.midmogis.org.
