TOURISTS, VISITORS AND TOURS

Volunteers are on duty at the Lewis and Clark Commemorative Monument from mid May through mid September,on Saturdays, Sundays and Holiday Mondays.  They provide little known information on the five figures from left to right York, Meriwether Lewis, Seaman, William Clark, George Drouillard with specific focus on their personalities and accomplishments on the expedition. The statues are visitor friendly and an excellent photo oppportunity. A handout is provided which gives additional information. Group scheduling is also accepted for weekdays and year round.

 

Docent volunteers are on site weekend' from mid May through mid September, pesenting information on the personalities and accomplishments of the figures; Saturday's and Holiday Monday's from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday's 2:00 to 4:00 PM, at no charge.
