During heavy snow or ice JEFFTRAN buses will operate on the Weather Emergency Flex Schedule. JEFFTRAN WILL NOT cancel service unless major streets are deemed impassable. If service is running on the Weather Emergency Flex Schedule, or canceled, it will be announced through the local media (radio stations: KATI, KFAL, KJLU, KJMO, KMFC, KPLA, KTXY, and KWOS or television stations: JCTV, KMIZ, KNLJ, KOMU and KRCG) and through JEFFTRAN's Information Email Group.
